An impactful donation was generously made by the One Day Clinic Galenus to the Regional Unit of Zakynthos, during a crucial two-day first aid seminar on basic life support that focused on using an automatic external defibrillator. The seminar took place over the weekend of July 15th and 16th at the prestigious “Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort” Hotel.
The Director of One Day Clinic Galenus, Mr. Yiannis Plarinos, personally handed over the defibrillator to the Regional Unit of Zakynthos. The device was gratefully received by the Deputy Governor of Zakynthos, Mrs. Katerina Mothonaiou.
This donation is of significant importance, as it enhances the capacity of the Regional Unit of Zakynthos to provide critical life-saving assistance to individuals in need. Mrs Katerina Mothonaiou stated “We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Galinos Day Hospital Unit and Mr. Yiannis Plarinos for their valuable contribution to the community’s well-being. Their dedication to promoting and supporting first aid education and access to essential medical equipment is truly commendable”.

We are proud to announce our decision to donate an automatic external defibrillator to the Regional Unit of Zakynthos. This life-saving device will be prominently and publicly located, with an only and heartfelt wish: that it remains unnecessary to ever use it.
